Horizon Flying Club is a club in the true sense of the word, it provides a base for socialising and fun (in addition to the important business of flying!).

Members of Horizon Flying Club have the use of various aircraft including Cessna 150s and a Piper PA28 and also benefit from the skills and experience of the club’s Chief Flying Instructor, Bill Stitt.

Horizon Flying Club offers both basic and advanced training from the NPPL (National Private Pilot’s License) through to IMC and Night Ratings, Tailwheel Conversions and even Aerobatics. Please note ab-initio and night ratings require the use of a licensed aerodrome. As our base here at Monewden is unlicensed we use nearby licensed aerodromes to undertake these courses.
