Horizon Flying Club is located on Monewden Airfield (unlicensed) at Cherry Tree Farm, Monewden, Suffolk.

Monewden Airfield is located 8nm NNE of Ipswich at N5210.06 E00115.60.

The runway is grass, 800m x 20m and the orientation is 04/22. Runway edge markings are currently being installed with completion expected by July 2005.

Circuits are L/H at 1000ft QFE

Monewden Airfield has its own air/ground radio frequency of 121.00. Pilots should use Wattisham Approach on 125.80 when in the local area and approaching Monewden.

Please note that Trees at Threshold may cause turbulence and pilots are asked not to fly over the village church (on final for RWY 22).
